Jim Jordan, Chief Financial Officer
Jim has extensive experience in software, professional services, mergers and acquisitions, and IPOs. Jim has served as CFO for numerous venture funded companies including Glasshouse Technologies, BIT9, Verrillon and EnernNOC. Prior to Ntru, Jim was CFO and Treasurer for ArsDigita Corporation, a venture capital-funded software company in the content and knowledge management space. ArsDigita successfully raised more than $42 million in funding and was eventually sold to Red Hat, Inc. Prior to joining ArsDigita, Jim served as Vice President of International Financial for Cambridge Technology Partners, Inc., where he had financial responsibility for CTP's international business of approximately $220 million in annual revenues. At CTP, Jim also served as Director of Business Development, where he was responsible for acquisition selection, analysis and integration. Earlier in Jim's career he worked for Coopers & Lybrand. Jim is a certified public accountant and is a graduate of Boston College.

Sheila Walker, Vice President Business Development
Ms. Walker is a results driven, business solutions sales executive with over 15 years experience leading innovative market leader software companies in their business development growth. As part of an organization's leadership team, she has developed business strategy; initiated customer focused solution sales, executed in targeted strategic accounts, and successfully turned around an enterprise software company by responding to changing market dynamics, and mandates by the Board. Within the Global 1000 market, Sheila has built a reputation for her ability to build and drive a sales organization that successfully helps clients acquire a competitive advantage by translating technology into business value as well as developing alliances to deliver world class customer service.
Prior to NTRU, Sheila was Vice President of Sales Solution Strategy at KANA Software, Inc (KANA), an industry leading CRM software provider into the financial services, telecommunications and technology markets. Prior to KANA, she held senior management roles in Business Development, Sales and Professional Services at Silknet Software, Inc and Cambridge Technology Partners, Inc. Sheila began her career at KPMG LLC, a premier provider of Audit, Risk Advisory, and Tax services. She served in the both the Audit and Tax practices focusing on Finance, Manufacturing, Not for Profit, and the Construction Industries. Sheila holds dual citizenship with the United States and Ireland. She is a CPA and holds a B.S. degree in Accounting & Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Craig Rutfield, Vice President Engineering
Craig joined NTRU as Vice President of Engineering in early 2008. Rutfield has accumulated significant IT management and operations experience as well as extensive experience from several executive leadership positions held within numerous organizations.
Rutfield has most recently worked as CTO at W.A. Wilde. Prior to his role at W.A. Wilde, Rutfield served as vice president of engineering and technology at Boston-based EnerNOC, Inc. Previously he served as a senior director of advanced technology at Rhode Island-based GTECH. Rutfield also served as CIO and vice president of engineering at both Verilytics of Burlington, MA and R3Media, Inc. of Andover, MA. Early in his career, Rutfield worked at First Data Corporation as a director and Digital Equipment Corporation as an engineering supervisor.
Rutfield holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

William Whyte, D. Phil, Chief Technical Officer and Director of Products and Services, Cryptographic Research
William Whyte is CTO and Director of Products and Services, Cryptographic Research at NTRU. Before joining NTRU, he was Senior Cryptographer with Baltimore Technologies in Dublin, Ireland. In NTRU his responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of product management and technology development. He has overseen the development of NTRU's highly successful Core TSS product, which has been licensed to ST Microelectronics and Atmel Corporation, and has led consultancy projects with blue-chip customers including Raytheon and Honeywell to design and review secure trusted systems. In addition, he manages business development for NTRU's consultancy and IP licensing business areas.
William has extensive speaking experience, having presented in industry and academic fora including three RSA conferences and many IACR-sponsored events. He chairs the IEEE P1363 working group for development of new standards in public key cryptography and is technical editor of IEEE P1556, providing security services for emerging vehicle-to-roadside messaging technologies. He has been granted multiple patents in the area of computer security and holds a B. A. from Trinity College, Dublin, and a D.Phil. from Oxford University.

Ari Singer, Director of Products and Services, Trusted Computing
Ari is Director of Products and Services, Trusted Computing at NTRU. Before joining NTRU, he was a Cryptologist for Pitney Bowes in the Secure Systems Group. At NTRU, his responsibilities include product management, business development, and customer relationship management for the TSS product line, as well as oversight for all consulting projects related to trusted computing at NTRU. He has extensive standards experience, having served as chair of the IEEE P1363 working group and as security editor and author for the IEEE 802.15.3 and 802.15.4 working groups and for the EESS #1 standard. He has led consulting projects for key customers such as Microsoft, performing numerous security analyses, with a particular focus on system security, cryptographic security, secure protocols, FIPS 140-2 and Common Criteria. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Music from The Ohio State University and a Master's in Business Administration from Babson College.

Mark Etzel, Ph.D., Director of Engineering
Mark is Director of Engineering at NTRU with responsibility for product development and testing. Before joining NTRU, he was a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories for 21 years. He has extensive experience in software and firmware development for secure communications equipment and the implementation of security protocols and optimized cryptographic algorithms for constrained, embedded devices. At NTRU Mark has led consulting projects, including the development of a cryptographic library for Microchip, and has performed security analysis for Microsoft and DSRC (Dedicated Short-Range Communications). He headed the development of the NTRU GenuID product, and manages the development team for the NTRU Core TSS, ensuring interoperability with multiple vendors' TPMs. Mark has several patents for mobile phone security and has published papers in cryptography and digital signal processing. He holds a B.S. with Honors from Carnegie-Mellon University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in Electrical Engineering.

Jeffrey Hoffstein, Ph.D., President, co-VP of Research, and Founder
Jeff is a co-inventor of the NTRU public key cryptographic system, and a Professor of Mathematics at Brown University. He has published papers on the subjects of number theory and cryptography, and is the recipient of numerous National Science Foundation grants. Jeff has held academic positions at the University of Rochester, IAS and Göttingen University in Germany. He holds a B.A. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. from MIT.

Joseph Silverman, Ph.D., co-VP of Research and Founder
Joe is a co-inventor of the NTRU public key cryptographic system. A Professor of Mathematics at Brown University since 1988, Joe has previously held academic positions at MIT, Boston University and Universite de Paris VII. He is the author of six standard reference texts on number theory, elliptic curves, Diophantine geometry, and arithmetic dynamics, and has published over 100 articles on number theory, dynamics and cryptography. Joe received a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship 1998-1999, an American Mathematical Society Steele Prize in 1998, and a Sloan Foundation Fellowship 1987 to 1991, and is also the recipient of numerous grants from the National Science Foundation. He holds an Sc.B. from Brown University and a Ph.D. from Harvard University.

Jill Pipher, Ph.D., Director of Research and Founder
Jill is a co-inventor of the NTRU public key cryptographic system, and a Professor of Mathematics at Brown University. She received the Sloan Foundation Fellowship in 1989, the Presidential Young Investigator Award in 1990 and has received numerous grants from the National Science Foundation. In addition to cryptography, her research interests include harmonic analysis, probability and partial differential equations. She has published articles on analysis and cryptography, and taught at the University of Chicago before coming to Brown University. Jill holds a B.A. and Ph.D. from UCLA.
